Hi!
My name is Heather. I have been running James Autos since November 2006, although the MOT station was here before hand.
Originally just an MOT station, I worked hard to gain the reputation of an honest MOT station. Never failing a car when it was not needed, never charging for work that wasn’t required. As we didn’t do repairs in house you could be sure that we wanted what was best for you and your vehicle.
We held on during the economic crisis. Our regular customers really helped us through by sticking with us, and we will forever be grateful for that!
In 2011 the opportunity for my husband to start working with me presented itself and we jumped at the chance!

With over 25 years of experience, he is one of the most capable mechanics in town!
When he started working with me, we decided that we wanted to maintain the reputation for honest MOT’s. We did not want to have the reputation of some fast fit garages in the local area.
Our mission was still to put our customers first, wether they were new customers or our faithful regulars! We aim to create an on going relationship with our customers built on trust.
That is the basis of our motto.
